Introducing the Valery Shuman Practice, based in Illinois, that forms part of the Sana Healing Collective - a Chicago non-profit dedicated to enhancing well-being on a holistic level. As both a social work and public health intern hub, we specialize in innovative therapy techniques, with a particular focus on psychedelic-assisted therapy such as ketamine-assisted techniques. Our dynamic team consists of eight highly trained individuals that range from psychologists and psychiatrists to art therapists and harm reductionists. All members proudly hold certifications in Psychedelic Therapy and Research from the prestigious California Institute of Integral Studies. Our principal aim is to merge ancient wisdom with modern mental health innovations to heal both the individual and the community in a way that respects the inseparable connection between mind, body and environment.

Our practice places a keen emphasis on creating an ecological understanding of the human condition; acknowledging that we exist and thrive within our relationships, our communities and our environments. This influence shapes our multidisciplinary approach to healing, weaving in aspects of mental health, bodywork, group and art therapy along with community and environmental programs. Our priority is to offer personalized, client-led approaches that focus on their complete wellbeing and that of their community and our environment. By embracing this integration of Sana (healing), we are striving to reshape the way mental health is treated within Chicago. Our objective is to make these revolutionary and proven methods accessible to everyone, a goal supported by the generous tax-deductible donations to our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Each member of our team ensures our mission is at the forefront of their services, whether through integrating ancient knowledge with progressive therapies or advocating for the end of inceptions like the War on Drugs, our goal is to foster self-awareness, resilience, and wellness on all levels.
