Tamar Kipnis is a seasoned licensed psychoanalyst, having completed the Advanced Relational Training for Licensed Psychoanalysts at the esteemed Steven Mitchell Center back in 2009. Her credentials are impressive, having become a Licensed Psychoanalyst through the Institute for Expressive Analysis in 2005, a New York State Licensed Creative Art Therapist in 2006, and a Board Certified Advanced Registered Dance Movement Therapist in 1994. Tamar is also highly educated in her field, holding a Master of Science (MSc) in Dance and Movement Therapy from The City University of New York/Hunter College since 1991. She has continuously expanded her knowledge and skillset, gaining her licensure as a Psychoanalyst in 2006, evolving into a Relational Psychotherapist by 2009, and achieving a Developmental/affect regulation/somatic attunement certification in 2012. By 2016, she took on the role of a Psychedelic Integration Therapist, bridging the gap between traditional psychoanalysis and innovative, forward-thinking practices.
