Intro

Introducing the Sequoia Center in Oregon - home to an innovate practice addressing the need for accessible, affordable psychedelic-assisted therapy services. Conceived as a response to the challenging access issues faced by many individuals seeking such services, Sequoia Center strives to bridge this divide through community-focused funding and investments. Backed by notable institutions such as The Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines and the Educational Foundation of America, our ethos is rooted in the development of ethical, accessible and evidence-based practices. We do not just provide services, we actively contribute to research outcomes, demonstrating our dedication to shaping best practices, ethical standards, and public education. Our services include ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as well as psychedelic preparation and integration, working closely with Oregon's Psilocybin Services Program for provision of support services. Although we don’t provide access to psychedelics, we are here to guide those who wish to engage with these substances—always striving to maximize healing benefits and embracing harm reduction practices.

At Sequoia Center, we are a collective of passionate professionals working towards building a responsive and inclusive practice. Co-founder and Director of Research & Development, Dr. Alissa Bazinet, is a clinical psychologist and skilled therapist specializing in trauma and addiction treatments. Our Director of Clinical Operations, Brian Hannah, is a dedicated clinical social worker, enthusiastically bringing his expertise in MDMA and ketamine-assisted therapy and more to those in need. And our committed team is complemented by esteemed professionals like Julio Iñiguez, Allison Holmes, Chris Stauffer, MD, Alyssa Gursky, and others, each contributing uniquely to Sequoia Center's healing mission. With an ethos rooted in trauma-informed, culturally-responsive practice and a focus on marginalized populations, we are steadfast in our resolve to provide quality, affordable therapeutic assistance to all those reaching out for help.
