Robyn Riley's practice, Soma Psychotherapy, situated in Utah, welcomes adults, couples, and families in need of psychotherapy, and invites them to take an active role in their own journey towards self-discovery. Not only do we offer flexibility in scheduling with availability during evenings and weekends, but we also provide options for in-office visits or online appointments for added convenience. Our scope of treatment is diverse, with a unique specialization in psychedelic integration and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. As a facility committed to education, we also serve as a training grounds for aspiring clinicians and interns, providing them with experience and supervision in a private practice setting. At the heart of our mission is an unwavering commitment to provide quality, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed mental health care at an affordable rate to anyone seeking it, upholding the belief that everyone has the capacity to thrive.
Founded by Kate, who previously ran a group private practice in Tucson, Arizona, Soma Psychotherapy has been growing steadily and designed to be client-centered, tailoring each person's treatment needs according to their unique circumstances. We value collaboration in therapy, fostering an accepting and supportive environment to stimulate your recovery and empowerment while keeping our rates low since we function as a teaching facility. Transitioning and strengthening her presence in Salt Lake City, Kate offers her therapeutic experience to the local community. We don't just provide clinical supervision and training, but facilitate workshops and training for interested members of the community. Moreover, our commitment extends to the larger societal issues, focusing on anti-oppressive and social justice-oriented mental health services. Our therapists take active participation in liberation work to dismantle overt and covert racism. As a part of our practice, we advocate for LGBTQIA+, non-monogamy, and sex worker rights, taking an initiative in educating our staff and clients on the impact of racism, oppression, and intersecting marginalized identities.
