Intro

Welcome to Fostering Greatness, a private mental health practice founded by the distinguished therapist Rena Beyer, MSW, LCSW. Operating out of New Jersey and Delaware, Rena has an extensive range of skills to combat numerous therapeutic challenges, such as trauma, grief, behavioral issues and fertility struggles, along with addressing mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, stress and suicidal ideation. At the heart of Rena's practice is the mission to provide empathetic, nonjudgmental and supportive services to help clients achieve their goals within a secure environment. With an arsenal of diverse therapeutic techniques at her disposal, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Play Therapy for younger clients, she ensures a versatile approach to mindfulness.

There is an explicit understanding at Fostering Greatness that seeking mental health support is a profoundly personal journey. To that end, Rena prioritizes fostering a sincere and welcoming relationship with each of her clients. In 2017, Rena became the first psychotherapist on the East Coast to offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), working closely with Initia Nova's medical team. This pioneering therapy is designed to manage conditions like anxiety, depression and trauma. As a prominent member of the psychotherapist community, Rena serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, & Practitioners (ASKP3), heading the Therapist Advisory Panel, which ensures therapists' interests and needs in the realm of Ketamine therapy. Besides, she holds a position on the board of New Jersey Psychedelic Therapy Association and educates in the field of Ketamine-Assisted therapy. Amidst the current pandemic conditions, all sessions are conducted virtually ensuring client safety. Through Fostering Greatness, Rena continues to bring transformative change to her clients' lives.
