Welcome to the practice of Rebecca Rothberg, a holistic health oasis nestled in sunny California. Rebecca, MA, PsyD, RYT, leans on her extensive background in psychology, ketamine-assisted therapy, and yoga instruction to offer an integrative healing approach that aims to rejuvenate and re-ignite your zest for life. Whether you're feeling worn-out, stuck, or overwhelmed, Rebecca works to establish a safe haven where you can engage with the elements of your being that are inherently wholesome and interconnected. With the right environment, accurate tools, and nurturing relationships, she firmly believes that each individual can achieve a state of healing, growth, and flourishing that they desire. By coupling empathetic connection with active collaboration, Rebecca's ultimate goal is to guide you towards discovering, exploring, and nurturing your most genuine self.
Rebecca is thrilled to introduce herself as a trauma-informed yoga instructor and psychotherapist based in Berkeley, CA. Before earning her doctorate in clinical psychology, she honed her creativity working in New York's bustling art world, which cultivated a profound appreciation for the intersection of creativity, transcendence, and psychological wellness. As a therapist, she leverages this belief in our inner healing abilities to work with individuals and couples, aiming to help clients uncover their authentic selves and navigate towards a life filled with fulfillment, purpose, and joy. Rebecca's extensive research includes work at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Medical Center, where she explored the use of ketamine for substance use disorders. Additionally, she has a published doctoral dissertation in the Journal of Psychopharmacology, discussing the mystical effects of ketamine on adults with alcohol dependency. Along her journey, she has been a peer counselor with the Zendo Project and co-founded the Graduate Student Association for Psychedelic Studies, promoting community and collaboration among clinicians and researchers alike.
