Intro

Introducing Nicole Oliver Snyder's practice, located in picturesque Colorado. Nicole's practice is a unique sanctuary for those grappling with feelings of disconnection or confusion about their body, emotions, or identity. The journey to self-discovery can be daunting but rest assured, Nicole is committed to walking alongside you, aiding your exploration into your true self to achieve peace with your past, present, and future. The essence of her valued practice lies in compassion and inclusion, a reflection of her wide and diverse multicultural experiences across the globe. Her areas of expertise include mindful eating and nutrition, religious trauma, and sexuality and sexual identity. With an integrative cognitive behavioral approach and an unwavering passion for community resilience and reconciliation, she guides her clients towards the path to radical self-love.

In this practice, Nicole encourages an environment that transcends categories and labels, acknowledging the complexities of our individual identities. She believes that defining an individual or group's "rights" is not free from complexity, as the parameters of that right might often define the corresponding "wrong". She brings a personal touch to her practice by sharing her own experiences and integrating her journey and insights into her work. Born in New Jersey and raised in Denver, Nicole's diverse international background and community-relations work combined with volunteer work in multi-ethnic communities, offer a rich tapestry of understanding and sensitivity to her practice. As the founder and senior pastor of an online and local community, she nurtures an inclusive and compassionate community rooted in spiritual mindfulness practices. Nicole's credentials include a Doctorate in Leadership in Community Spiritual Formation and Theology and she is a licensed professional counselor. Based in Lakewood, Colorado, she also co-pastors The River Church alongside her husband, Howie.
