MPB Group Inc., established in 2003 by Dr. Brewer, is a comprehensive outpatient mental health clinic situated in Maryland. Serving adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, our team of clinicians, interns, psychiatrists, and administrative staff are committed to guiding you on your journey to wellness. We offer assistance through a variety of services and programs, including Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, with on-call support for emergencies outside normal business hours available to active clients. At the heart of our practice is a mission to provide accessible and culturally competent mental health and training services, empowering individuals to heal from dysfunctional thought patterns and behavior. We strive to create a space where individuals can live authentic lives, guided by compassion and unity, embracing the unique qualities and diversity found within our community.

Our firm stance against any form of racism, hatred, and bigotry is reflected not only in our words but through our actions. Each member of our diverse group of staff is dedicated to creating a safe environment for all clients, regardless of race, creed, or sexual identity, where they can express their feelings freely, find meaning in their experiences, and draw strength from hope. Over the years, our growth has been rooted in Dr. Brewer's unwavering dedication to meet the ever-expanding needs of the community. This led to the transformation from a private practice to a group practice, facilitating the training of growing professionals, and opening a second clinic in Laurel to serve the residents of Prince George's County. MPB Group also expanded our services to meet the needs of the dual diagnosis population (mental health and addictions) and secured accreditation by the Accreditation Commission For Health Care reflecting our commitment to quality healthcare. We ventured into holistic healing methods by setting up a Psychedelic Assisted Treatment program offered in Jamaica and developed holistic psychedelic retreats under the trade name "Healing Escapes." Our efforts have been recognized and highlighted in various platforms, including the "I Want a Buzz Entertainment Resource" podcast and Vimeo podcast with Dr. Shane Perrault.
