Intro

MindPeace Clinics, located in the heart of Norfolk, Virginia, offers a beacon of hope for individuals battling chronic pain and various mood disorders. As a pioneering healthcare institution, we specialize in the provision of ketamine infusion and intranasal treatments, offering alternative solutions to those for whom traditional therapy methods have failed to deliver relief. We welcome patients suffering from a wide array of conditions including migraines, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic regional pain syndrome, and anxiety. Our clinic is spearheaded by the esteemed Dr. Patrick Oliver, a medical professional well-regarded for his deep-rooted passion for patient care. Together with his dedicated team, Dr. Oliver’s approach encompasses a collaboration with each patient's physicians to capitalize on a holistic and comprehensive treatment plan.

Pioneering the use of ketamine therapy as an integral part of our all-encompassing treatment courses, the team at MindPeace Clinics is committed to envisioning a brighter and healthier future for our patients. Before we recommend embarking on a journey with ketamine treatments, a seasoned member of our team will conduct a meticulous assessment of your suitability for such therapy. This preliminary appointment comprises a thorough psychiatric or pain review, physical assessment, introduction to MoodMonitor, illustration of our treatment process, and an in-depth discussion on anticipated experiences from ketamine infusions. We'll also ensure a detailed review of your medical tests, such as urine and blood work, to rule out other possible causes for your symptoms that might better respond to a different treatment. During your subsequent infusion appointments, you'll be in a warm, calming environment where each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. It's worth noting that these treatments sometimes yield temporary side effects such as out-of-body sensations or mild hallucinations, but these typically dissipate promptly after the therapy concludes. Throughout this process, our highly trained registered nurses continuously monitor and care for each patient. Additionally, we offer a variety of sessions to cater to different conditions with durations varying between one-hour initial assessments to five-hour chronic pain treatments.
