Intro

Welcome to Michigan Progressive Health, a renowned clinic based in Royal Oak, Michigan. Known for its remarkable practices in the medical field, the clinic is built upon the foundations of delivering substantial medical relief and superior care. The health center is steered by the inspirational drive of the medical director Dr. Megan Oxley, who is not only a proud founding member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists and Practitioners (ASKP³), but is also at the forefront of pioneering the wonders of ketamine therapy. With a team of practitioners equally passionate about ketamine therapy, the clinic provides this alternative healing method to patients struggling with PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain, substance abuse, and notably, depression.

Your journey at Michigan Progressive Health is designed carefully right from your first visit. Upon arrival for your hour-long appointment, you'll be received with warmth by the clinic's diligent staff and be handed a brief questionnaire to better comprehend your medical history. This crucial phase will offer you ample time to acquaint yourself with the clinic's providers, understand the risks and benefits of ketamine, and get all your questions answered. Following a physical examination by the doctor, the clinic undertakes a patient-centric approach in defining your initiation phase for the treatment. This phase spans over 3-4 weeks and involves 6-8 ketamine treatments for mood disorders, employing monitoring practices for your comfort and safety. The maintenance period furthers individualizes your treatment in the form of 'boosters', the frequency of which is determined based on your unique needs. It's not uncommon for individuals to have the first booster 2-3 weeks post initiation, followed by a variation of 6-8 weeks. For migraines, a typical treatment plan consists of one or two treatments during initiation and one infusion every 8-12 weeks for maintenance. Chronic pain schedules are also designed specifically, consisting of standard infusions every 2-3 months. With the committed efforts of Michigan Progressive Health’s staff, you are not just another patient, but a unique individual with tailor-made care.
