Welcome to the practice of Lacie Hamilton, a skilled and empathetic licensed professional counselor and supervisor based out of Texas. With a focus on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Lacie integrates a range of therapies into her practice, bringing over a decade of clinical experience to her clients. Specializing in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), she has undergone rigorous training programs with Fluence, Integrative Psychiatry Austin and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). In addition to her mastery of KAP, Lacie is proficient in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Currently a Somatic Experiencing (SE) student, she's also undertaking an intensive training course in somatic 'parts work' under the esteemed Frances Booth. Lacie believes in the synergy of traditional therapy and body druids, underlined by her training as a Yoga and Meditation teacher (RYT-200 and MTT-100 respectiveley). Wilder Wellness PLLC, managed by Lacie, extends these services to adult clients online, or in person at Austin, Texas.
Lacie adopts a human-first approach in her practice, valuing a balanced client-therapist relationship. She is committed to creating a safe environment for her clients – cherishing authenticity, empathy, humor and ‘soft challenging’. Rather than opting for a one-sided therapy, Lacie believes in treating the person, not the patient. A firm believer in "the body keeps the score" philosophy, she embraces the body-mind connection in her sessions. Apart from her clinical work, Lacie is an ardent lover of nature, with interests including camping, hiking and regular outdoor pursuits. She is also the Director of Operations for a national substance use disorder recovery treatment provider, with a background in Silicon Valley start-up operations roles. Alongside her impressive professional repertoire, Lacie holds two master’s degrees - in Counseling Psychology and Conflict Resolution & Mediation. A constant learner, she believes in evolving herself to better serve her clients, which is why she is constantly engaged in ongoing education. While her therapeutic style could feel out of the box to some, she regards it as an integral part of her unique approach. She also offers supervision services for licensure and KAP consultation to other clinicians, always ready to bring in new perspectives.
