Krista’s own healing path and exploration of diverse healing traditions led her to the profound realization that healing extends much beyond the scope of what western civilizations recognize. After studying psychology academically for over a decade and supplementing this knowledge with explorations into Eastern and Shamanic healing modalities, she developed an integrative approach to therapy that harnesses the power of somatic, psychological and energetic interactions. Her involvement with depth and somatic psychology, coupled with the learnings from her doctoral studies on Eastern and shamanic perspectives, were instrumental in constructing her treatment approach. Krista’s work is fundamentally transpersonal and humanistic, bridging the gap between Western psychological approaches and holistic Eastern teachings. Her grounding in Shamanic healing is the result of her deep apprenticeship with the Shipibo lineage of Peru.
