Greg’s emphasis on social justice led him to choose Social Work, a field that allows him to actively affirm his sensitivity towards LGBTQIA+, espouse sex positivity, and navigate complex traumas.

In addition to being a therapist, Greg has held significant leadership roles in diverse settings, ranging from community-based organizations, schools, and hospitals. As the Senior Social Worker in the Department of Psychiatry at Lenox Hill Hospital, he oversees the clinical staff and trainees. He heads the Social Work Training program at the Outpatient Center for Mental Health of Lenox Hill Hospital, mentoring several cohorts of social work students. Coupling his passion for education and his role in academia, Greg has held academic positions at prestigious institutions such as NYU, Hunter College, and Columbia University. Pioneering innovative approaches to mental health care, Greg co-founded Lenox Hill Hospital's Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy program, a trailblazing initiative projected to launch in mid-2024. His dedication extends to making psychotherapy accessible by providing a 'superbill' that could enable reimbursement of fees from insurance carriers.
