Intro

Welcome to Erin Wright's psychotherapy practice, a healer's sanctuary nestled in the heart of the South Lake Union neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. As a Psychotherapist specializing in individual adult therapy and psychedelic integration, Erin has committed her life to support courageous individuals on their journey to self-discovery. She firmly believes that all the difficulties, problems, and conflicts our lives present us with are not arbitrary. They are indeed the roadmap designed for us by a part of ourselves that deeply cherishes our well-being. These hurdles prod us, urging us to introspect, readjust and move in a direction that will lead us towards real growth and self-understanding. But beware, these challenges will turn severe if ignored for they are determined to awaken us!

Erin hails originally from South Carolina but shifted to Seattle to pursue her passion - Counseling Psychology. She graduated from The Seattle School in 2011 as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Falling head over heels with the culture and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, she decided to make it her new home. She brings to her practice a wealth of varied experiences. As a former college athlete and a die-hard sports fan, her perception of psychotherapy is influenced by her coaches, colleagues, teachers, and the numerous relationships she has nurtured throughout her life. Erin is currently the Co-President of the Northwest Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study and a board member of the International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education. She has been serving in diverse mental health settings since her graduation and established her private practice in 2013. Erin is also a member of the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association and has a Certificate of Completion in MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). Her training has empowered her to assist individuals who are using psychedelic substances independently to comprehend and integrate their experiences efficiently. She is also proficient in ketamine-assisted therapy, aiding clients who are going through ketamine treatments to integrate their experiences effectively. Her approach focuses on harm reduction and she passionately follows her purpose of guiding people towards their true selves.
