Intro

Introducing Erica Zelfand, an established family medicine doctor passionately delivering holistic healthcare in Oregon. Licensed as a primary care provider, Erica is committed to a versatile and multi-disciplinary approach to healthcare in her practice. From traditional medical issues to mental health concerns, Erica employs her wide-ranging knowledge to fully understand and address the intricate health conditions her patients face. She holds strong to the belief that the human body is interconnected and insists on treating her patients as a whole, rather than focusing on individual symptoms. As a graduate from one of the few accredited naturopathic medical schools, she possesses in-depth expertise in nutrition, supplements, botanicals, functional medicine, and much more than your average physician. Erica's expertise does not stop there; she is also a proud advocator and teacher of psychedelic medicine internationally.

The journey of her career started shortly after graduating from McGill University with High Honors and realizing her dream to become a doctor. Erica went back to college to complete her pre-med degree and subsequently discovered the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Here, she earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, giving her the grounding to blend conventional medicine with natural therapy approaches. Her extensive training includes a CNME-accredited family practice teaching residency at NUNM and a four-year mentorship under a board-certified MD pediatrician. Additionally, she holds several qualifications from esteemed institutions, including the New England School of Homeopathy and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. As a Certified Tribal Practitioner, she has traveled globally, acquiring a rich trove of healing methodologies. Erica remains committed to continuous professional development, regularly updating her knowledge on pharmacology and ethics among other areas. Above all, Erica brings to her practice a profound sense of empathy and care for every patient she serves, and provides unwavering support to aid their journey to optimal health.
