We are a holistic outpatient mental health facility, responding to the diverse needs of adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families coping with mental health issues. We offer a unique Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy program and emergency services outside of regular working hours to our active clientele. Our mission is to cultivate an environment that fosters comprehensive, accessible, and culturally-inclusive mental health assistance and training facilities, directed towards enabling individuals to overcome dysfunctional thought and behavior patterns and lead authentic, compassionate lives.

Dr. Brewer established MPB Group in 2003 as a private practice to provide therapeutic aid to foster care children in Maryland with collaboration from DC’s Child & Family Services (CFSA). Noticing an increasing demand, the practice soon transformed into a group practice, extending its reach to cater to the mental health needs of the broader community. In 2007, the MPB Group expanded its remit to become a training site for budding professionals, obtaining state license as an outpatient mental health clinic. Over the years, we have been responsive to the varying needs of our community, inaugurating a second branch in Laurel in 2015, and extending our aid to the dual diagnosis population by 2016. In 2018, MPB Group received notable recognition from the Accreditation Commission For Health Care (ACHC) in acknowledgement of our commitment to quality healthcare. Our additional operations stretch all the way to the Caribbean, with the genesis of a Psychedelic Assisted Treatment program under the brand “Healing Escapes.”
