Intro

At Dawn Patrol Psychotherapy & Integration based in the stunning locale of Hawaii, we specialize in propelling people on their journey to unearth their true potential. Founded on the understanding that reaching out for help is an immense stride, we are delighted to provide the support needed to make life’s important transformations. Our counseling framework adopts a unique amalgamation of different theories tailored to the individual. This incorporates elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based dialectic behavioral therapy, and family systems approach. To enrich your therapeutic experience, we incorporate an array of creative methods including EMDR, breathing exercises, psychedelic integration, dance, and yoga. We explore and target not just anxiety, depression, and trauma living in the body, but also aim for holistic well-being by helping you tap into your latent capabilities. Under the guidance of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, Dawn Patrol Psychotherapy & Integration provides a compassionate setting for your transformative journey.

Emanating from the heart of its founder, who holds an M.S. in Counseling Psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy from the prestigious Chaminade University of Honolulu, Dawn Patrol Psychotherapy & Integration embodies a deep engagement with its clients. Its founder, originally from Minnesota, has lived in Hawaii since 2003 and has a family there. His extensive background as an Internationally Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in Hawaii enriches his understanding of the diverse cultural experiences of his clients. His qualifications include being an Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor, Internationally Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional, Certified Substance Abuse Program Administrator, Vocational Assessment Specialist, and QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor. With the ethos that being a good counselor stretches beyond addressing an individual’s immediate issues to also encompass elements of family, relationships, employment, education, spirituality, physical health, and mental health, we encourage an openness to alternative approaches, an appreciation of diversity, and crucially, a willingness to embrace change. Dawn Patrol Psychotherapy & Integration is privileged to be your partner on this life-changing journey.
