Welcome to the practice of Dr. Annie Karamanukyan, situated in the heart of California, where complete well-being is at the center of everything we do. Our prime focus is aimed at promoting integrative health for the body, mind, spirit, and community. We understand that living with anxiety, stress, and trauma can feel like an insurmountable challenge, impacting not only personal wellness but also the quality of relationships. Our multi-disciplinary clinic, Silvi Integrative Health, upholds the ethos of holistic health and we are dedicated to helping you regain control over your life. Dr. Karamanukyan has meticulously curated a team of medical experts to provide an all-encompassing treatment regimen. Our collaborative crew comprises prescribing doctors, certified acupuncturists, naturopaths, osteopaths, massage therapists, and physical therapists.
Dr. Black, an alumnus of Alliant International University, San Diego, heads our team. She is a board-certified biofeedback and neurofeedback practitioner, specializing in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. After her post-doctoral training at University of California, San Diego (UCSD), she emerged victorious as a grantee of UCSD’s Frontiers of Innovation Scholars Program (FISP), for her ground-breaking endeavour to introduce neurofeedback services into UCSD Health’s family medicine program. With a foot in both neuroscience and alternative medicine, she embodies the core values of integrative health. Dr. Black wins the hearts of her patients with her warm demeanor and a unique therapeutic approach anchored in the alliance between the therapist and the patient. She embraces and respects cultural and spiritual diversities, carefully eschewing assumptions of what might be “right” for an individual, instead, prefering co-creation of a plan to foster thriving. Passionate about mentoring, she also imparts her wisdom as a teacher and paves the path for future psychologists. In her free time, you can find her engaging in gardening, hiking, or spending treasured moments with her co-therapist, Lexi. Dr. Black's multifaceted professional skills blended with her innate insight make her a treasured asset to our team and a fierce advocate for her patients.
