Intro

Welcome to the practice of Alissa Bazinet, steadfastly stationed in the heart of Oregon to address the essential need for affordable psychedelic-assisted therapy. This practice solidly stands upon the pillars of ethical standards, evidenced-based outcomes, and universal accessibility, with esteemed support from the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines and the Educational Foundation of America. At our core lies a persistent pursuit to furnish quality psychedelic services to those most in need, not only to those with abundant means. As more boutique, for-profit psychedelic centers crop up nationwide, the most vulnerable often find these essential services financially unattainable. Driven to bridge this widening divide, we channel our funds directly into the services we provide, as a bona fide investment into our community's welfare.

The hallmark of our practice is centered around reshaping and redefining the future of psychedelic-assisted therapy, with a particular focus on research outcomes and community service. We are committed to crafting best practices, ensuring ethical clarity, training fresh practitioners, and raising public awareness about psychedelic services. Apart from providing ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, the Sequoia Center also extends guidance on psychedelic preparation and integration. On the cusp of rolling out Oregon's Psilocybin Services Program (mid-2023), we are actively collaborating with local psilocybin service sites to offer additional services including evaluations, treatment planning, integration, and more. While we do not directly offer access to psychedelics aside from ketamine, we do offer support to clients who choose to use these substances independently, aiming for harm reduction and maximizing healing benefits. Our team, initiated by Co-Founder and Therapist Dr. Alissa Bazinet, is continually expanding to form a unified collective working towards a shared vision.
