This definition refers to the mushroom's physical characteristics, specifically its bald stem and convex cap.  

In terms of pharmacology, psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychoactive compound found in certain species of mushrooms that produces psychedelic effects when ingested. Who Coined the Term Psilocybin?
